Baramulla, April 23: Today Molvi Imran Raza Ansari, President Jammu & Kashmir Shia Association and Minister for Youth Sports & Services addressed a gathering of huge mass of devotees who had arrived from different villages at Hanjivera Pattan for commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Musa Kazim (a.s.), the 7th Imam of Asna Ashari Shites.

Marsia khawni was organised and Nouhas were recited by the devotees.

In his address to the devotees, Imran Ansari highlighted the contribution of Prophet (SAW) and Imam Musa Kazim for nurturing Islam into a global religion of peace and equality.

He said that the message of unity, brotherhood, welfare of downtrodden and empathy that symbolised the life of Prophet (SAW) and Twelve Imams need to be absorbed and reflected with the same essence  for us to become true Muslims in letter and spirit.  commemorating Imam Musa Kazim’s martyrdom offers us an auspicious occasion to understand that righteousness always emerges triumphant against all evil designs of enemies of Islam, said Ansari. Musa Kazim’s sacrifice defying evil and upholding the path of Allah is a lesson we all must imbibe, particularly in our times when misinterpretations tend to   create confusion for misleading followers towards harms way.

On this occasion,arrangements for clean drinking water, necessary first aid and medical facilities were made by Hussaini Relief Committe, Baramulla.
