Civilian was killed by forces on Tuesday

Srinagar: Joint resistance leaders today called for complete shutdown on Sunday against the killing of a civilian by forces in Kupwara District.

Hurriyat (G) Spokesman Ayaz Akbar told KPS that the joint resistance leadership including Hurriyat (G) chairman Syed Ali Geelani, Hurriyat (M) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front chairman Mohammad Yasin Malik have appealed people to observe shutdown on Sunday as a mark of protest against the killing of innocent civilian by forces in Panzgam area in Kupwara.

A civilian Mohammad Yousuf Bhat (61) was killed on Tuesday by forces during protests in Panzgam area.
