Srinagar: Residents of Hamadan Colony Shangergund Sopore in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district are up in arms against the PDD for failing to install electric poles and wires in the area.
A delegation from the area said absence of concrete electric poles and standard wire poses risk to their lives.
In absence of electric poles and wires, we have to use our own wires as supply lines from transformers. Due to overload,these supply lines frequently get snapped. Though the PDD had few years ago sanctioned concrete poles and wires for our locality, however these have not been installed yet.
Meanwhile when we contact Superintendent of North circle Daljeet Sing he said we look into the matter and take it in our notice the problem will be redress soon.
