SRINAGAR: Clashes erupted between protesters and security forces in Trehgam area of Kupwara district after people took to streets to demand the release of a local youth Gowhar Peer (22).
Security forces used force to disperse the protesters, triggering clashes. Reports said that several people were injured in the clashes.
