SRINAGAR: Scores of residents stages a protest demonstration against water shortage in Kursoo Raj Bagh area of Srinagar. Protesting residents including women, elderly people blocked the road.
They said that the area is facing water scarcity from several days. They alleged that the department is providing their share of water to bureaucrats and influential people. Protesters said they have been provided contaminated water posing health hazards.
