Tral : Soon after Batagund incident , in which two persons died due to electric shock when High Tension wire touched the vehicle near Takiya Village of Tral on Friday evening, SDM Tral suspended 5 employees of Power Development Department within no time.
According to the reports, The suspended employees including AEE PDD Sub Division Awantipora Farooq Ahmad Tak , Fayaz Ah Bhat ( JE PDD Sub Division Awantipora), along with Field Inspector Ab Raheem Pandit and two line men Shabir Ah Dar and Tariq Ahmad Shah.
The SDM Tral Mr Riyaz Ahmad Malik suspended them for reported negligence in performing their duties which led to the death of two persons in village Batagund Tral.
Reports said that an enquiry has been ordered to ascertain the circumstances under which the unfortunate incident took place.
