Alleges MLA for stopping funds

SUMBAL May 23: Scores of residents of Inderkote village of Sumbal stages a protest demonstration against the Municipality and MLA Sonawari as the area is facing defunct drainage system.

Residents alleged that the MLA stopped the funds adding that despite their repeated reminders, successive regimes have failed to construct proper drainage system.

“Compounding our problem, the stinking drainage of Sumabal​ Inderkote ward 5 &6  passes through drains in our localities. Pungent smell emanating from the waste water of industries have caused health complications to us besides affecting our agricultural fields,” said the aggrieved residents.
