Decision taken to ensure safety, security of public properties
Srinagar, May 27 : The Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan on Saturday said that the curfew will be imposed in Srinagar parts while the restrictions will be imposed in other sensitive areas on Sunday.
Khan said that the curfew and restrictions will be imposed as precautionary measures.
“The Srinagar parts falling under jurisdiction of eight police station including Kralkhud, Khanyar, Rainawari, Safa kadal, Maharaj Gunj, Maisuma, Batamaloo and Nowhatta will remain under curfew while the restrictions will be imposed in other sensitive areas of the Valley,” he added.
He said that the decision has been taken to ensure the safety and security of public properties.
