EDUCATION IN FIRST AID, HEALTH AND HYGIENE

SRINAGAR: In an endeavour to further the existing bonds with the local children, the Army camp at Devsar today approached the school authorities of Sr Higher Secondary School and interacted with the young students on the important aspects of First Aid, Hygiene and Sanitation. The Army’s Medical team delivered a lecture on   the benefits of sanitation and good hygiene and impressed upon all to carry this message beyond the school walls and bring improvement in their respective villages and areas also. Basic first aid techniques like how to stop bleeding and manage minor cuts & bruises were also taught to them with demonstrations.
