BARAMULLA: A joint team of Legal Metrology Department Baramulla and Department of FCS & CA, Baramulla under the supervision of Assistant Controller Baramulla conducted an intensive round of market checking in Baramulla.
Over all around 150 commercial establishments dealing in essential commodities were inspected. It was impressed upon the traders to ensure proper hygiene in sale of essential commodities such as meat, fruits, vegetables etc.
Fine of Rs. 17000 was recovered from erring traders for violation of various Laws.
