SRINAGAR: The enforcement squad of the Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) department Saturday conducted market checking at various areas in Srinagar.
During the checking, various business establishments, particularly bakeries, were fined for violations of the Essential Commodities Act 1955 and an aggregated penal sum of Rs. 28,000 was collected as fine from the violators.
