NEW DELHI:  The Congress has decided not to attend tomorrow’s special midnight function in Parliament on Goods and Services Tax (GST), according to sources.
The party is expected to formally announce its decision at a Press Conference later in the day.
The TMC had also announced its decision not to attend the session which will be held tomorrow in the Central Hall of Parliament and will be attended by the President and the Prime Minister.
Two former Prime Ministers HD Deve Gowda and Dr Manmohan Singh and Chief Ministers of all the states are among the invitees to the special session.
The Bill for Good and Services Tax, which is described as one of the most important economic reforms, had been passed in the last session of Parliament.   (UNI)
