Ahmedabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today expressed anger and anguish over the present atmosphere of violence in the nation and asserted that no one can be allowed to kill people in the name of cows.
It was the best occasion to speak about a serious issue, the Premier told a function here on the occasion of the centenary celebration of the Sabarmati Ashram and issuance of a commemorative postal stamp and coins on Mahatma Gandhiโ€™s spiritual guide Shrimad Rajchandraji on his 150th birth anniversary, Mr Modi said,’ I want to express my anger and anguish on the current atmosphere in the country.
What has happened to the country which believes in feeding even the ant, taking care of street dogs, where every morning feeding fish is the tradition, which has learned the lesson of non-violence from the messiah of peace Mahatma Gandhi.
That hospital, the Premier said, is being burnt on the death of patient owing to failed operation.
There canโ€™t be anybody superior to Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi and social reformer Vinoba Bhave with respect to Gau Bhakti.ย (UNI)
