SRINAGAR: An Amarnath yatri from New Delhi died due to cardiac arrest at Baltal base camp in central Kashmir district of Ganderbal, official sources said.
They said the yatri identified as Manoj Kumar suffered a heavy cardiac arrest at Baltal base camp.
However, Kumar was immediately rushed to hospital where he was declared brought dead.
With this a total of three yatris besides a security force personnel have died since the commencement of the 40-day-long annual pilgrimage from June 29 from both traditional Pahalgam and shortest Baltal tracks.  (UNI)
