SRINAGAR: Ahead of death anniversary of Burhan Wani of Hizbul Mujahideen (HM), security forces arrested over 20 people and sealed all roads leading to Tral in south Kashmir since last evening.
Both the factions of the Hurriyat Conference (HC) and Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), spearheading the agitation had called for a general strike tomorrow on the death anniversary of Burhan, who was killed in an encounter alongwith another militant in south Kashmir on this day last year.
The separatists had also called for Tral challo.
Security forces and state police have sealed all roads leading to Tral, the home town of Burhan.
Additional security forces had been deployed in the entire town and adjoining village to prevent any demonstrations.   (UNI)
