SRINAGAR: One-way heavy vehicular traffic has been allowed on historic Mughal road, linking Shopian in south Kashmir with Rajouri and Poonch in Jammu region, after remaining suspended for about eight months.
However, one-way light vehicular traffic was allowed on the Mughal road on April 23 after remaining closed for winter months due to accumulation of heavy snow. The road was made operational for two-way traffic for light vehicles from June 8. (UNI)
