“PDP-BJP can’t befool people more with their theatrics on so-called AoA”
SRINAGAR: Peoples Democratic Front (PDF) President and MLA Khansahib Hakim Mohammad Yasin today rued that blood of Kashmiris has become so cheap that not a day passes when some innocent isn’t killed.
While terming the killing of Beerwah youth today as target killing, Hakim Yasin in a statement issues to media said, “According to eyewitnesses, the firing at Beerwah today was unnecessary as situation wasn’t out of control. As reported the slain boy was hit on head which shows it is a target killing. Civilian killings have become a routine in Kashmir and it seems the rulers have become habitual of killing civilans.”
The PDF chief also asked the ruling PDP and BJP not to befool people more with their theatrics. “The statements of BJP leaders and ministers in the Center make it clear now that so-called ‘Agenda of Alliance’ exists nowhere. In the last more than two and half years, Kashmiris were being fed with the lollipop of ‘Agenda of Alliance’. However, Amit Shah, Dr Jitendera Singh, MoS Home Hansraj Gangaram Ahir and other BJP leaders have made it clear from time and again that there is no ‘AoA. It is good that they made it clear that ‘AoA is nothing more than a piece of paper,” he said.
Reacting to PDP Vice President Sartaj Madni’s statement over Ahir’s reply to a written question in the Lok Sabha on the situation in J&K, the MLA Khansahib said, “Even Madni sahib has acknowledged in public now that the ‘AoA’ is being defied by the BJP. People of Kashmiri can’t be kept in dark further as they must have realised now how they were being befooled in the name of ‘AoA’ since early 2015. Now it is clear that for what this so-called ‘AoA’ was. It was an agenda for running the government only,” he said.
