SRINAGAR: Alleging that the BJP and RSS have an agenda to erode the autonomous structure of Jammu and Kashmir, main opposition National Conference (NC) president Farooq Abdullah said abrogation of Article 35A will have severe consequences than 2008 Amarnath agitation.
The three time former chief minister of the state was referring to Amarnath land row that triggered massive state wide protest in 2008.
“The abrogation of Article 35A will have serious consequences in all three regions of the State – Kashmir, Ladakh and Jammu,” Mr Abdullah, who is the Member of Parliament (MP) from Srinagar constituency, told reporters during a press conference after chairing a meeting of all opposition political parties here today.
