Poonch: A trooper was killed after Pakistani forces allegedly attacked several posts in border district of Poonch in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday.
A police official told news agency GNS that Pakistani forces targeted some posts along Line Of Control (LoC) in Balnoie area of Krishna Ghati sector today afternoon. A team army’s 20 Kamaon Regiment housing the posts namely ‘Halmat’ post in the area and are guarding the fence when they were fired upon heavily with motor shells and rockets from the other side.
The fire was retaliated effectively and the exchange of shelling was intermittently going on, he said.
