Srinagar, Aug 10 Jammu and Kashmir government has increased the ex-gratia relief to police martyrs from Rs 7 lakh to Rs 20 lakh.
Director General of Police (DGP) Dr S P Vaid said that it was a good gesture for the martyrs’ families.
In a tweet, Dr Vaid said, “Ex-gratia amount enhanced from 7 to 20 lakhs for Police martyrs by government today. A good gesture for the martyrs families. (UNI)
