New Delhi:ย Delhi government hospitals are well prepared to treat vector borne diseases such as Swine Flu, Dengue, Chikungunya, and malaria, Health Minister Satyendar Kumar Jain told Delhi Assembly today.
Making a suo-moto statement in the house, the health minister said about the present condition of vector borne diseases in the capital.
According to the minister, Delhi reported a total of 1080 cases of Swine Flu, out which 199 patients were from outside the capital.
Government hospitals successfully treated 1076 patients suffering from Swine flu, while 4 patients could not survive, including two from Delhi and two outsiders.
‘No need to be scared of Swine Flu, as Delhi has facilities and it can be treated’, said the health minister.ย (UNI)
