New Delhi:  In an effort to rescue stranded people from flood-affected Bihar, Indian Air Force (IAF) today picked up Army team from Ranchi to Purnea while another C-17 picked up NDRF team from Bhubaneshwar to Patna.

An IAF sources said, “One Mi-17 helicopter based at Gorakhpur evacuated 45 marooned people from Maharajganj today morning.” (UNI)
