Gorakhpur:  Flood waters have threatened the city after water released from Nepal into Rapti and Rohini rivers today.
Waters have starting inundating low lynching areas of the city.
District Magistrate Rajiv Rautela told reporters here that low lying areas have been vacated while embankment were strengthened.
He admitted that several low lying g areas in the city have been submerged with flood waters.
He said food packets are being distributed among the affected people.  (UNI)
