Srinagar: Governor N N Vohra today approved appointment of Lal Chand, Member, as acting chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission.
An official spokesperson here this evening said that in exercise of his powers under the Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir, Mr Vohra has approved appointment of Mr Chand as acting chairman of JKPSC with effect from August 28, 2017.
He said Mr Chand will hold the post till Latief-u-Zaman Deva, the present incumbent, resumes duty.
