Srinagar, Aug 28 : Security forces launched a major search operation in over half a dozen villages in Shopian district in south Kashmir, where eight security force personnel were martyred in a fidayeen attack on District Police Lines (DPL) in Pulwama.
Three foreign militants of Jaish-e-Mohammad were also killed in the 18-hour-long encounter in the DPL. (UNI)
