Srinagar: Commenting on the visit of PPG (Policy & Planning Group) of AICC led by Former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh to J&K, the J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President G.A. Mir stated that it has now been decided the group will meet delegation/groups/Individuals desirous of meeting the Group during their visit to J&K.
Stating that the group will also interact with the Congress Leaders and workers in an extended Executive Committee including Ex MLA and Senior Leaders, G.A. Mir said that Dr. Manmohan Singh accompanied by P. Chidambaram, former Finance Minister, Ghulam Nabi Azad, LOP in Rajya Sabha and Ambika Soni General Secretary AICC is scheduled to visit Jammu on 10th and 11th of Sept 2017 and Srinagar on the 16th and 17th of September and shortly thereafter, Ladakh for which the date, will soon be finalised.
“Adding that Senior Leader Dr. Karan Singh, who has already made his individual programmes to Jammu and Kashmir over the next few months will nevertheless, try to be with the group where ever possible”.
He further said that the group is meeting the representatives of other political parties, including trade bodies and other individuals during their scheduled tour programme in the State, G. A. Mir said.
