Muzaffarpur, Sep 11 ; Five people, including 4 policemen, were killed and a DSP rank officer and two others injured when a speeding truck hit them near Akuraha slope under Panapur police outpost area in the district today.
Police said here that four cops were killed on the spot when the truck hit them when they were standing on the divider of a road after searching a vehicle on suspicion.
The driver of vehicle also died when he was being rushed to a nearby hospital.
Police said DSP Krishna Murari Prasad and two others were injured in the mishap.
All of them had been admitted to a local hospital. (UNI)
