Jammu, Sept 11: A man and his daughter was today killed in a road accident in this winter capital of the state, police said.
“A motorcycle was hit by a trailer late this evening near Greater Kailash area,’’ police said.
They said that the man identified as Mahesh Kumar, 42 and his daughter, residents of Channi Himmat, died on the spot when their two-wheeler got trapped in the rear tyre and it was dragged for few metres.
“The trailer driver, identified as Avtar Singh of Gurdaspur, was arrested on the spot and the vehicle seized,’’ they said.
A case has been registered and investigations started. (UNI)
