Lucknow, Sept 13 : Lucknow police today arrested five dreaded criminals after a brief encounter in Ghazipur police station area of the Uttar Pradesh capital.
During the encounter, two criminals sustained severe bullet injuries and they have been rushed to the Trauma center here.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Deepak Kumar said that on an information, police chased a car near Kukrial Bandh.
The criminals were reportedly on way to kidnap a trader in the area.
In the encounter, two criminals, identified as Rehan and Anwar, received bullet injuries. (UNI)
