Karwar, Karnataka, Sep 13: Nine persons including three children and three women feared killed when a lorry rammed against Xylo Multi Utility Vehicle in Arabilu ghat area in Karwar taluk of Uttara Kannada district today.
Quoting initial reports police said the dead, travelling in the illfated MUV, were travelling from Yellapur to coastal town of Ankola in the district travelling on National Highway No.63. They belonged to a village near Chikkodi in neighbouring Belagavi district.
