Sitapur, Sept 19 : Train mishaps continue to hog limelight in Uttar Pradesh when two rail accidents occurred at the same place within 12 hours.
However, no one was injured in both the incidents with one involving a passenger train.
According to railway police sources here today, the first accident occurred when 54322 Burhwl-Balamau passenger train derailed near Sitapur Cantonment station late last night. Engine and two coaches of the passenger train went off the rails. But as the train was at a slow speed, hence no injuries were reported. (UNI)
