Agartala, Sep 19 : Tension continues on the second day in Muslim dominated bordering locality of Agartala Biterban where at least 11 persons along with BJP MLA Sudip Roy Barman were injured allegedly in the attack of CPI(M) over holding a local party office.
The BJP alleged despite presence of police, CPI(M) cadres today also warned BJP supporters.
Police said adequate measures have been taken to ensure peace in the locality.
According to report, after moving to BJP, former Trinamool MLAs have been changing the signboards of the offices and yesterday afternoon Mr Roy Barman along with some BJP workers went to change the signboard of Trinamool office in a rented accommodation of a Muslim family.
Initially, the owner objected the move of erecting BJP signboard but they did not pay any heed to it.
