Srinagar, Sept 19 : Security force today launched a cordon and search operation in a village in north Kashmir district of Bandipora.
Official sources said following specific information about presence of militants in village Chittibandey in Bandipora, a joint search operation was launched by Special Operations Group (SOG) of state police, the Army and CRPF in the area today.
They said security forces were searching houses, fields and orchards in the village, where there were reports of presence of about two to three militants.(UNI)
