Srinagar, Sept 20 : Security forces launched a search operation in several villages in the central Kashmir district of Badgam today, official sources said.
Acting on a tip-off about the presence of militants, security forces and Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police launched a joint search operation in several villages in Khag area in Badgam district.
All exit points were sealed and the operation was on when the reports last came in, they said, adding that so far, no contact with established with the militants.(UNI)
