New Delhi, Sept 21: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and his deputy Keshav Prasad Maurya today resigned from the membership of the Lok Sabha.
Both the leaders submitted their resignations to Dr D Bhalla, secretary to the Lok Sabha secretariat, official sources said.
The Chief Minister and his deputy have been elected members of Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council.
On March 19, Mr Adityanath took oath as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh while Mr Maurya took oath as the Deputy Chief Minister of the state.ย  (UNI)
