Unnao, Sept 22 : Two local journalists, including a cameraperson, were killed in a road accident in the district.
Police sources here today said that the accident occurred here last night at Ghurkhet village on Purwa road when the journalists were returning to Unnao on their motorcycle after a shoot.
A car coming from the opposite direction hit them and later escaped from the spot.
According to the report, News Nation news channel cameraperson Ranvijay Singh (30) died on the spot, while journalist of the same channel Aashu Tiwari( 32) was rushed to the Lucknow Trauma Center where he was pronounced dead by the doctors.
An FIR has been registered in this connection. (UNI)
