Srinagar, Sept 25 : A motorcyclist was killed and pillion rider injured when a police vehicle hit them in south Kashmir district of Shopian, official sources said here today.
They said a motorcyclist Kashaf Mushtaq Mir and his pillion mate were injured last night, when a police vehicle hit them in Shopian.
The injured were rushed to hospital where Mir died.
Police have registered a case and initiated proceedings, they said adding locals protested against the accident.(UNI)
