New Delhi, Sept 26 : Haryana Police today raided a Greater Kailash II residence of Honeypreet Insan in South Delhi, in a bid to arrest her, who was accused of inciting violence in Sirsa, after Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh was convicted in two rape cases on August 25.
Panchkula police with arrest warrant raided Honeypreet’s GK residence, however, police failed to locate her as she was missing from her apartment.
The police team has began raiding several locations in New Delhi.
The move comes a day after Honeypreet, whose real name is Priyanka Taneja, moved the Delhi High Court, seeking anticipatory transit bail.
A court in Panchkula had yesterday issued arrest warrants against Honeypreet, Aditya Insan and Pawan Insan. (UNI)
