New Delhi:  The Army on Wednesday carried out a “surgical strike” along the Myanmar border and targeted Naga insurgent camps, media reports said.

“A team of Indian Para Commandos carried out the attack at 4:45 am and caused heavy damage to NSCN-K insurgents close to Langkhu village near the Indo-Myanmar border,” a report of CNN-News18 said.

As per the report the Army did not cross the border and has suffered no casualties.

The “strike” comes on the anniversary of India’s “surgical strike” in Pakistan-administered Kashmir (PaK) last year.
