Bhopal, Sept 27 : Congress MP and former Union Minister Kamal Nath today condemned the lathi-charge on students protesting at the Banaras Hindu University describing the suppression of voice of girl students as undemocratic.
“Varanasi is Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s parliamentary constituency. It is sad that students were lathi-charged over there,” said Mr Nath while responding to a media query here.
Responding to a query over several Congress leaders leaving the party, he said the party does not weaken because of someone leaving it. (UNI)
