Ganderbal: Ganderbal police arrested two persons and recovered two gunny bags from their possession in this central district Ganderbal.
Today during naka checking at kondabal link road police party headed by Sho Safapora SI Mudasir Zaroo stopped two persons namely Bashir ah lone s/o Maqbool lone R/o chattergul kangan and Rafiq Magray S/o Gh Ahmad Magray R/o Badampora, who were carrying gunny bags in suspicious conditions.
On search of such bags, banned medicinal plant extract (putri) was found. Both the persons were arrested and bags seized on the spot.
In this regard case FIR No. 36/2017 , U/S 379 RPC, 6 forest act stands registered in Police Station Safapora and investigation taken up.
