Ambala, Oct 3 : Four people were killed and six others injured in a head-on collision between an auto- rickshaw and postal mail truck on Chandigarh-Hissar highway, a few kms from here on Tuesday.
Of the 11 people travelling in the auto, four died on the spot while two seriously injured were referred to the PGI Chandigarh.
Rest of the injured were admitted to the civil hospital Ambala City.
All the victims hailed from Kashmir valley who had come to purchase goats and sheep at the animal market in Ambala.
The injured admitted to the civil hospital were out of danger, police said.
