New Delhi, Oct 4 : Three Nepali minor girls were saved from trafficking by the Sashastra Seema Bal in Lakhimpur Khiri district of Uttar Pradesh.
The girls were spotted by the Third Battallion of SSB on Khakhrola border outpost on Tuesday while they were coming with their luggage from a lesser used route.
Suspecting it to be a case of human trafficking, BOP commander Subโ€“Inspector Sunil Kumar immediately contacted Nepal police and an NGO ‘Maiti’ of Nepal for verification and assistance.
