Srinagar: Militants today opened indiscriminate fire on a cavalcade of paramilitary CRPF vehicles in Sanat Nagar area of Srinagar.
Sources told news agency GNS that militants targeted a cavalcade of Coy 29 CRPF along Sanat Nagar Bypass in summer capital here. They said that the firing was intense and CRPF also retaliated but there was no loss of life or injuries to anyone on either sides.
Soon after the firing, the police, CRPF and army cordoned off entire area and launched searches to nab the attackers as forces suspect their presence in the same area.(GNS)
