Srinagar, Oct 17 : Thousands of devotees joined the night-long prayers at the Shrine of Hazrat Sheikh Nooruddin Wali at Charar-e-Sharief in the central Kashmir district of Badgam despite cold weather condition.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti has felicitated people on the annual urs of Hazrat Sheikh ul Aalam being observed on Tuesday.
Thousands of people, including women and children, from different parts of the Kashmir valley and Jammu region participated in the night-long special prayers at the shrine.
The devotees had the glimpse of Holy “ Tabarokaat” after the “ Fajr” morning prayers on Tuesday.
The district administration had made all arrangements for the devotees.
