SRINAGAR, OCT 20 : Raising the bogey of maintaining law and order the whole population of the Old City is repeatedly made hostage in their own homes by imposing curfews, Awami Itihaad Party’s firebrand Spokesman Inam Un Nabi said.

 

Inam said that the restrictions in Old City create immense trouble for the people including students and patients of the area and is part of the policy of government’s revenge against these people.

 

 

The spokesman said that heavy deployment of forces around central Jamia Masjid on Fridays is a major cause of concern for the people in the area and leads to creation of tension.

 

Inam Un Nabi further said that the aggressive tactics by the government, curfew, restrictions, and atrocities can’t suppress the people for raising their voice of justice and demands of basic political right. (PTK)
