Jammu: Senior PDP leader and Minister for Information, Civil Supplies and Public Distribution here on Sunday welcomed the resignation of party leader and sitting MLC Vikramaditya Singh who he said had become a “liability” for the party.
Talking to KNS over phone Chowdhry Zulfikar said “though Vikramaditya was a political non entity but PDP had given him an opportunity to serve the people of Jammu region but he failed to deliver on ground. We are happy that he has resigned. He had become a liability for the party and can’t win even a panchayat election”.
Notably Vikramaditya Singh the son of former Sadr-e-Reyasast Dr Karan Singh himself in the Congress party and his elder son Ajatshatru Singh in the BJP has through a letter to Chief Minister posted on social networking sites facebook and twitter announced his resignation from both the party and as well as the legislative council.
