New Delhi, Oct 23: Reacting to the Central Government appointing former IB chief Dineshwar Sharma as its representative to hold talks with all stakeholders in Jammu and Kashmir, the Congress on Monday said it was an admission by the Government that the ‘muscular approach’ has failed in Jammu and Kashmir.
”With appointment of interlocutor, I hope government has finally admitted ‘muscular approach’ has failed in J&K,” senior Congress leader and former Home Minister P Chidambaram said.
Taking to twitter, Mr Chidambaram said,”from “No talks” to “Talks with all stakeholders” is a major victory for those who had strongly argued for a political solution in J&K.”
