Srinagar: Indian army chief General Bipin Rawat on Wednesday said that the appointment of interlocutor for Jammu and Kashmir would not impact army operations in the state.

On Monday Home Minister Rajnath Singh said that Government of India appointed former Intelligence Bureau head Dineshwar Sharma as New Delhi’s representative to initiate a “sustained dialogue” with all stakeholders in Jammu and Kashmir.
