Mumbai, Oct 26: The rupee went up today by seventeen paise to 64.73 in early trade on fresh selling of US Dollars by bankers and exporters, dealers at Forex Market said.
Weak dollar against other currencies pushed the local unit up.
It registered an intraday high and low at 64.80 and 64.72 respectively, they added.
